Registration allows Ripple to provide certain digital asset services in Ireland and the wider European Economic Area once the MiCA Regulation takes effect in 2024. On a similar note, India's GIFT City International Financial Center is launching its first regulated real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform in January 2024. It aims to enable more foreign investment into development projects. Collated's new fintech Terazo will tokenize assets on Polygon blockchain under GIFT City's regulatory sandbox. Tokenized cash is also being piloted, with JPMorgan providing tokenized dollar accounts on its Onyx blockchain to settle Rupee forex derivatives.
